Founded in 2025, The LA Pit was built from decades of hands-on restaurant experience and a passion for bringing people together through great food. After successfully operating multiple food concepts and serving communities throughout Southern California, founder Rish Oberoi saw an opportunity to create something unique, a brand that combines authentic barbecue traditions with the diverse flavors and culture that define California. The LA Pit was founded on a simple belief: food should be bold, memorable, and accessible. From slow-smoked brisket and tender pulled pork to handcrafted sides and fresh-made sandwiches, every item is designed to deliver exceptional quality and value. As the brand evolved, so did the menu. Today, The LA Pit proudly serves authentic smoked barbecue alongside its growing lineup of signature burgers, combining traditional smokehouse techniques with classic American comfort food. Looking ahead, the menu will expand into Italian-inspired cuisine, bringing together pasta dishes, sandwiches, and family-style favorites.
